Testimonies. “Spontaneous,” “funny,” “disrespectful”... Cyril Hanouna’s return to W9 divides opinion

Following the end of Touche pas à mon poste and C8, Cyril Hanouna returns to W9 on Monday, September 1st to present his show Tout beau, tout n9uf . Between impatience and indignation, the host continues to divide viewers.
This is one of the most anticipated programs of this television season. Six months after the end of the broadcast of C8 on TNT, Cyril Hanouna had announced that he would continue his television adventure on W9. Finished Touche pas à mon poste , he will return next Monday, September 1 , at 6:45 p.m., at the head of Tout beau, tout n9uf ( TBT9 ) for "nearly three hours of extraordinary daily entertainment," specifies the channel. "A concentrate of energy, freedom and good humor in which the news, chronicles and the most surprising happenings" await viewers.
Former and new columnists will be surrounding Cyril Hanouna. Regulars include Raymond Aabou, Valérie Benaïm, Géraldine Maillet, Isabelle Morini-Bosc, Gilles Verdez, Fabien Lecoeuvre, and Michel Mary, who followed the host on W9. Jérôme Anthony , another host in the group, is joining the TBT9 crew. Chef Norbert Tarayre will be present occasionally. Jean-Michel Maire, Pascale de La Tour du Pin, and Bernard Montiel, however, have left for other projects. Guillaume Genton and Kelly Vedovelli's participations remain unanswered for the moment.

Whether you love him or hate him, Cyril Hanouna never leaves viewers indifferent , torn between impatience to see him again and indignation at the return of the host and his show, under a new name. Among his detractors, Anthony, from Asnières-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine), will not be in front of his television set on September 1st . "Whether or not he does political subjects, Hanouna is a despicable character who has actively participated in disinformation and the rise of intolerance," he indignantly states. Similar reasons given by Catherine, from Dieppe (Seine-Maritime): "I find him disrespectful, vulgar, pretentious and only critical, especially about people who bother him," she writes.
Jean, a reader from Chamonix (Haute-Savoie), will also not be watching this new show "which, in my opinion, is an intellectual and cultural regression. This character lives only for degrading actions and advocates fake news." Olivier, from Châtel (Haute-Savoie), is not kind to the host and his show: "It was a collection of nonsense, disrespect, vulgarity, all orchestrated by the master of malfeasance and hate speech."
There are also doubtful viewers, who will watch out of curiosity and need to be convinced. "I'll watch the first show to see if the host's tone has changed, if he stops criticizing everyone and his columnists, and if he no longer gets political. M6 management will have to keep a close eye on him, because he's capable of the worst as well as the best," says Nicole, from Créteil (Val-de-Marne).
Less politicsMany are wary of the political topics addressed by the host and the direction the show has taken in recent months. Béatrice, from La Motte-en-Bauges (Savoie), will watch "if there is no more politics and fake news." Victoria, from Lyon, hopes that "his new concept is based more on fun than politics. It's good entertainment, even if Cyril Hanouna can be annoying, especially with his behavior toward certain columnists, and often interrupts," she laments.
The host can, however, count on a solid base of fans ready to support him, who will not miss the September 1st event, like Chantal, from Bordeaux: "I appreciate Cyril Hanouna's energy and spontaneity. In the anxiety-ridden society we live in, his shows are a real breath of fresh air: they allow you to relax, laugh, and find a little lightness," she assures. From Beauce-la-Romaine (Loir-et-Cher), Djamella eagerly awaits the return of Cyril Hanouna and his team. "What I appreciate is the spontaneity of the columnists and Cyril. I laugh every night watching them," she says.
A freedom of toneSylvie, from Sedan (Ardennes), hopes to find the same concept. "Watching TPMP , I felt like I had a group of friends at home debating various topics, especially with humor," she recalls. Thierry, from Vendée, is a long-time fan, having followed the program since its debut on France 4 until today on W9. "I love Cyril Hanouna's way of presenting, his entourage, and especially this "non-politically correct" style that has become his signature," he explains.
Like Thierry, some of the show's regular viewers hope to rediscover the spirit of Touche pas à mon poste (and the many blunders that cost C8 dearly). "I just hope there will be the same freedom as on TPMP, even if I have my doubts. Finally, a presenter who dares, even if it is not always politically correct," writes Élisabeth, from Hanches (Eure-et-Loir). The answer will be in a few days...
All good and new , Monday, September 1 , from 6:45 p.m., on W9.
